Questions For Interview #2

Well the SECOND interview is almost ready to go, we’ll be releasing it very soon (watch your e-mail).

I have some good news and bad news:

Good News:

I got TONS of great information out of Amit, he even reveals his FAVORITE keyword research tool & his favorite affiliate network for beginners to start with…

Bad News:

I couldn’t get myself to be quiet so I kept asking him questions! The interview got a bit longer than I expected, but Amit was REALLY giving away great information.

(Actually at one point, the cameraman was giving me the signal - you know the one where you run your finger across your throat - we were about to run out of tape!)

So, here’s what we’ll be revealing soon…

==========================================

1. What percentage of your campaigns are actually successful?

2. How EXACTLY do you research a niche?

3. What about PRODUCTS? How do you find products that CONVERT well?

4. When do you know to QUIT on a niche or campaign?

5. What network do you recommend affiliates start with?

6. What EXACTLY do your landing pages look like?

7. How many KEYWORDS do you use to promote a product?

8. What’s your FAVORITE keyword research tool?

…and of course, I kept probbing him with more questions - all to see soon! Watch your e-mail for it…

Looking forward to this.

It’s always good to listen to someone who has ‘been there, done it, got the t-shirt’!

Not sure if it will be covered in this video, but it would be good to see/hear some stuff on tracking and analytics at some point.

Thanks again

Hmmmmm.. really interesting to see some GOOD & HELPFUL information coming out of the SUPER AFFILIATE. Can’t wait to see more.

P.S - I also doubt on the fact that it would really boost the competetion on certain area’s discussed in the interview. Need to keep the eye and ears opened to CATCH the real secrets. :)

Good Stuff Mate… It really helps.

Ask him how much money would a ‘newbie’ REALLY need to start since the PPCs cost when people click and DON’T buy??
He went in $20K debt trying to find his niche’s. I’m alread in $40K debt…I don’t need more!!!! I need cash !!.

I am now working on my second PPC campaign. My first failed miserably, although I may revise and revive it with the information that I learn from PPC Classroom. My current campaign has been running for about four days now. With this one I started small with only a few ad groups with tightly related keywords. I have not had a single conversion yet, but I am learning more every day. As Amit would say, “I am paying for my education”. With the help of these videos along with my continued use of PPC I hope to reach the point where everything seems to click. Thank you guys, keep up the great work.

Can’t wait to see the 2nd video. the first video was so motivating, really a great source of information. A lot who is just starting with their own business can really relate to his past experiences. But the good news is it can be learned and success can be achieved after all.

Cheers,

Well I see you say you went over the expected time in the interview , so tell us how long did you expect the interview to last? also why not have 2 tapes so that you could continue if it was that important? something smells about this..

Hey jb,

Well, we have Interview #3 to do as well. Also, we were all getting tired!

But I had plenty more questions and will get them on #3!

Since I’m a total beginer at this, it will be nice to hear what to do. My challenge so far has been muddling through so many ppc guides its difficult to know what to do. Its like an information overload of sorts.

Brian Weaver
September 29, 2008

Sounds great, I can’t wait to watch this vid. In response to jb, I don’t think the word tape was literal, I don’t think anything is captured on tape these days, especially now that there is a HD camcorder with a 120 gb hard drive built in.

Great work Anik for asking questions that really matter!

And thanks Amit you are helping thousands of people with your great knowledge. May God give you more success :)

I’m really eager to learn all the great stuff and not only learn but also apply it!

Unfortunately I won’t be able to afford the PPC Classroom course launching on 14th Oct but I wana learn as much I can from the free vidoes.

I wanted to take part in the video contest but don’t have a video cam :s

I would have really bought the course but at the moment I’m earning less then 500 bucks per month and with that I have to support my family and my education as well as I’m only 22 so still educating myself :) and by the way I’m from Pakistan

Waiting impatiently for the next video :D

Once again great work guys!! THUMBS UP!

This is definitely going to help me get my business going and making some money. I am really interested in his keyword research tool that he uses. The only ones I have access to is the same one that everybody else uses so it makes it kind of difficult to get fresh new targeted keywords that will be unique.

Can’t wait till the second video comes out!

Hey Brian,

Actually oddly enough, we WERE using “DV Tapes” - lots of high end cameras still use those…

Anik,

Keep picking his brain brother. I don’t care how long the vids are - the more info the better.

If Amit is on the “up and up” here, and I believe so far that he is, then we all have a great interest in his answers to the above questions.

Keep it coming my friend, looking forward to the release of #2.

Wow, I didn’t figure the vids were that high end! The 1st one was very professional and the intro was great, but I didn’t think you guys were using Hollywood grade equipment! Keep up the good work!

Good questions. I just started as well, just launched one PPC campaign, quite a few impressions , few clicks no conversions. But then again this was not a highly popular niche. It’s frustating, but will keep trying. Finding a good niche (good meaning less competetive and having a high converting potential) is the key I think.

Hi Anik,
I just discovered your site this morning and have been glued to it watching every video available where you interview Amit. I congratulate you on the excellent questions you presented… many of which I’ve had for a long time! I have been online for a bit over a year now, and I’m ready to take my business to the next level… but when it comes to learning PPC it can get quite confusing and sometimes even frustrating… there is so much contradictory information out there!!! Your videos seem down to earth and Amit presents the concepts very clearly. I believe PPC Classroom is what I’ve been searching for. Keep up the great work and please send me more videos and let me know of your launch.
Wishing you and Amit the very best,
Tamara

October 4, 2008

Hi Guys,
I have so many questions already! I’m wondering at one point we know that keyword research is complete… or is there such a thing? And then again, Amit says that the ideal is to run several campaigns (8+) per month for a few months to really grasp the business… I find this a bit overwhelming for two reasons…. First, just to research a niche, the keywords and setting a landing page for each keyword can be alot to handle for a newbie. Then, the cost of running that many campaigns may be prohibitive for many of us newbies… So my question is if there is hope for the some of us who want to start with just a couple of campaigns… would appreciate a reply. Thank you for such great info!

I did some math: 2.4 million minus ($5000×365 days) leaves more than half a million net. Not bad.

jl
October 12, 2008

2.4 million is great but if you’re spending $1.8m on PPC, that is about $600k a year. Great cash but 30% margins are horrible.

Are you netting $2.4?

Come clean.
